Instilling a lifelong commitment to service is at the heart of the Thompson Working Families Scholarship program. As the 2025-2026 school year comes to an end, Thompson Scholars at our partner schools – Bowling Green State University, Grand Valley State University, Michigan Technological University and Saginaw Valley State University – are engaged in a variety of community-focused service initiatives. Reflecting on the value of service in this video, Robert Thompson, joined by his wife Ellen Thompson, shares their views on service.
